About Me

I am a PhD student at the machine learning group of Prof. Dr. Ulf Brefeld at the Leuphana University of Lüneburg since February 2024. Before joining Leuphana, I worked as a visiting research scientist in the Image Processing Lab at ISI Kolkata for six months. I received my Master of Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute in 2023, and my Bachelor of Science (major: Statistics, minor: Mathematics, Economics) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Research Interest

In my PhD studies, I focus on spatiotemporal data analysis and explainable machine learning architectures. In particular, I work with soccer data, representing it as graphs and employing GNNs to derive insights from it. Additionally, I am interested in topics such as causality, complex networks analysis and game theory, and aim to integrate these ideas with traditional machine learning and deep learning algorithms to build a comprehensive framework for improving player performance and gaining valuable insights into team strategies.
