I currently hold a postdoctoral position at the Machine Learning Group of Prof. Dr. Ulf Brefeld at the
Leuphana University of Lüneburg. I work on the research project SensoMot and do research on sports analytics with a special focus on football (soccer).
Previously, I worked on machine learning at Universität Potsdam, Yahoo! Research Sunnyvale, Max Planck Institute for Computer Science in Saarbrücken, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and University of Waikato, NZ.
I received a Ph.D. (Dr. rer. nat.) in Machine Learning from Universität Potsdam where I was a member of the Machine Learning group of Prof. Dr. Tobias Scheffer and a Diplom (Master of Science eqivalent) in Computer Science from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg.
